Bhaskar Borkar - Founder & Mentor
Chartered Accountant
Bhaskar Borkar is a Chartered Accountant (CA) and Company Secretary by qualification. He has also passed the Insolvency Examination (Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India) and has over 36 years experience working in large listed entities and projects. He has worked in Building products, real estate, automotive and speciality chemicals industry. He worked as the CFO of Nitco Limited for more than two decades. As a CFO he was instrumental in raising funds from banks, financial institutions and capital market (IPO and QIP issuances). He has rich experience of operational and financial restructuring of businesses. He has also been involved in M&A activities, Joint Ventures in India and overseas. Prior to Nitco, he worked as CFO and Company Secretary at J.F.Laboratories Ltd which was a startup in speciality chemicals space. Borkar has started his career with Mahindra & Mahindra group where he had the opportunity to work in various functions including Corporate Accounts, MIS, Exports, New projetcs etc. In his last assignment at Mahindra Group he worked as Finance Manager and Company Secretary at Mahindra British Telecom Ltd (now Tech Mahindra).
Anuj Jain - Founder & Managing Partner
Chartered Accountant, LLB, M.Com (ABST)
Anuj Jain is Founder and Managing Partner of CFOCORP. He holds Masters Degree in the Accounts and Business Statistics; He is a Chartered Accountant (CA) and Law Graduate by qualification. He has close to 20 year of experience as finance professional with expertise in handling Taxation matters. He has worked in Building Product Company, Real Estate, infrastructure Company, FMCG, Speciality Chemicals companies and handled in varied capacities to steer Merger & acquisition, Overseas Buyout, Tax efficient transaction structuring, Setting up of new business and Greenfield projects. He has worked with listed entities as Head of Taxation and handled compliances and litigations under Income Tax Act, Goods and Service Tax Act (GST) and various other Acts. He was also instrumental in raising the funds and analysing the cash flow, Profitability & monitoring cost parameters. He has also handled commercial operation and introduced various products to minimise credit risk. He has vast experience of managing the receivables through various means of credit control and maintaining good relationship with Channel Partners.
Deepchand Sharma -Chartered Accountant
Deepchand Sharma is a Chartered Accountant and also holding Diploma in Management Accountant, CIMA (London). He has 20+ years experience working in large listed entities in the Infrastructure Development, Building Products and Ceramics Industries.
He has also done certification courses in IFRS and gained expertise in IFRS, finalisation of accounts, consolidation of Accounts. He worked as head of Accounts in listed entities and strategized to optimise MIS, CAPEX planning, budgeting and variance Analysis. He was instrumental in implementation of customised SAP modules, Re-engineering of business processes and development of policies. He worked with finance team and instrumental in raising funds from financial institution.
Ajay Nair - CFO Associate
Ajay Nair is a law graduate from Government Law College, Mumbai. He has more than 24 years of experience in the legal field with 14 years of practice as an Advocate/Counsel and 10 years of Heading Legal departments in the Corporate world, wherein he had the opportunity to Head Legal departments of various Companies like Rallis India Ltd. Dow Chemicals, Nitco Tiles, Royal Bank of Scotland and Accenture.
Himanshu Gandhi - CFO Associate
Himanshu Gandhi is a Chartered Accountant (CA) and Company Secretary (CS) by qualification; he is one of the youngest CA who cleared CA at the age of 19 years.
He has 10 year experience and has advised large number of clients on income tax matters. He has handled tax litigation and complexities under income tax including assessment, surveys, search matters.
He has vast experience of representing matters before the Commissioner of Income tax CIT(A), and Tribunal (ITAT).
Prasanna Sudke -Chartered Accountant
Prasanna Sudke is a Chartered Accountant and a Law Graduate. He has more than 15 years of post-qualification experience in the field of indirect taxation. He spearheaded implementation of GST, VAT and Service tax credit mechanisms for several companies. He is advising various clients working in diverse fields such as leasing companies, e-commerce industry, real estate industry etc on Indirect Taxation Matters. His area of expertise includes structuring business models and transaction in tax efficient manner. He is a managing partner of GSC & Co LLP and his practice areas include GST, Legal Metrology and RERA.
